blowing strongly through the heart,
lighting the way home.

Friendship embraces
the light of truth, sharing hearts
in spite of any darkness.

In that space within
where the soul silently dwells
true peace can be found.

A song bird warbles
in the early morning light,
what a joyous sound.

Sharing an apple,
we watch the orange sunset
melting into the night sky.

Winter’s breath so cold,
snow sparkling in the moonlight,
reflects an icy pureness.
